Alexandria Grande Dame Pendant-Brooch

Inspired by the 1863 wedding parure of Danish Princess Alexandria, (shown in last picture) this generously proportioned piece reflects the opulence and importance of her forthcoming marriage to the future British King Edward VII.

Featuring three large freshwater pearls, encircled by smaller pearls, all set within a frame of sparkling marcasites topped by stylised Fleur de Lis crown. The five pearl droplets give movement and grace to the piece.
