Art Nouveau Style Necklace

This wonderful necklace is evocative of the jewels brought to us in the early 1900’s by the the Art Nouveau designers.

The asymmetrical design, the use of the soft pearls alongside the black onyx, and the symbolism of the Ivy tendrils weaving around the entire piece, give an added meaning to the necklace. Ivy, sentimentally representing ‘I cling to thee’ – indicates that this necklet is a token of love and union, even if the loved one is no longer with the wearer.
